Innovation starts in-house. Our engineering team develops and optimizes UAV motors and electronics entirely under our own roof. From concept design and simulation to prototyping and validation, we maintain full control over the development process. We can respond quickly to customer requirements and deliver highly optimized solutions.

Our capabilities include in-house turning, milling and coil winding for rapid mechanical prototyping and precision component manufacturing. Multiple test cells allow us to validate propulsion systems under realistic operating conditions, enabling performance analysis and endurance testing.

The mission of Arctus Technologies centers around developing reliable, scalable technology and providing excellent customer support.  We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our team! If you enjoy working hands-on with power controllers and designing PCBs, this could be your next opportunity.

Key responsibilities:
• Electronics hardware design and realization
• Contribute to innovative customer-initiated projects with real-world drone applications
• Ensure product roadmaps, engineering budgets and technical documentation are maintained and up-to-date

You bring:
• Master or Bachelor in Electrical Engineering  
• Solid understanding of practical aspects in electronics design such as performing of measurements
• Knowledge of power electronics such as motor drivers
• Skilled in electronics hardware realization (PCB design, prototyping, etc)
• Understanding of embedded systems with a focus on STM32
• A pro-active and hands-on attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Knowledge of Git

Nice to have:
• Regulatory experience such as MIL-STD, safety and EMC
• Experience working with drones, UAV systems, or robotics

To support our continued growth, we are looking for a structured and detail-oriented Part-Time Finance Administrator to strengthen our financial and administrative processes.

Your Role
As Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the daily financial administration of the company and helping maintain accurate and organized records. You will work closely with management and external accountants to ensure smooth financial operations. This is a flexible part-time position suitable for someone who enjoys working independently in a technical and entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities
Processing purchase and sales invoices
Monitoring accounts payable and receivable
Assisting with VAT administration and filings
Preparing financial overviews and reports
Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes
Maintaining organized financial documentation
Assisting with quotations, order administration, and general office support
Coordinating with external accountants and suppliers

Requirements
Experience in financial or administrative work
Accurate, structured, and detail-oriented mindset
Familiarity with accounting / ERP software
Good communication skills in Dutch and English
Ability to work independently and proactively
Affinity with technology or engineering companies is a plus

Vacancy: Electronics Intern
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) place high demands on their propulsion systems. The Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) plays a critical role in efficiently, reliably, and accurately controlling brushless DC (BLDC) motors. Key aspects include efficiency, thermal behavior, responsiveness, and robustness under dynamic loads. The objective of this assignment is to develop a compact, efficient, and reliable ESC suitable for UAV motors, with a focus on:
- High efficiency under varying load conditions
- Low thermal losses
- Fast and stable motor control
- Robust operation under UAV-specific conditions

The student will design an ESC from concept phase through validation. The assignment consists of the following parts:

‍1. Requirements & Specifications
Voltage and current range
Switching frequency
Cooling requirements
UAV usage scenarios
Component selection
‍
‍2. PCB Design
‍Layout of a high-current PCB
Current paths
EMI/EMC behavior
Thermal management

‍3. Control & Firmware
‍Implementation of motor control
Sensorless back-EMF detection or sensored control
Development of firmware

‍4. Prototype & Testing
‍Assembly of ESC prototype
Setup of a test bench with UAV motor and propeller
Perform measurements
Analyze results and implement iterative improvements

At the end of the internship, the student will deliver:
Simulation results
Test results
Working ESC prototype
PCB design files
Firmware code
Recommendations for further optimization

Required Skills
‍(Preferred) experience with PCB design and simulation tools
Basic knowledge of power electronics
